Fee based Projects

E-Distribution has developed state of the art construction management software “E-D Construction Software” to aide in the organization and management of larger owner direct projects. Most companies do not have the resources dedicated to the oversight and management of their projects. General Construction superintendants do not have the time to babysit all the material handling contractors and vendors in addition to building a new facility.

Fee based is an open book pay as you need program that allows factory direct purchasing of their products with owner oversight keeping the vendors honest and on schedule for their portion of the job.

  1. Project Management – Contract project management including bid review and analysis, scheduling through on site construction meetings throughout the job. The project manager will review all invoices and provide vendor relations as the owners direct representative.
  2. Vendor Management - E-D construction software allows for the separation of parts by section of the building or by row. This information will provide the manufacturers the correct quantities and in sequence to how it should be shipped. The vendor will have a representative of the owner who will be able to speak their language and mitigate most problems that arise.
  3. Installation Management – E-D construction software breaks out installation drawings for the construction crews down to the row level giving the installer accurate counts and common drawing references that they will be able to use in throughout the duration of the job. E-D % of completion in unison with daily reports give the exact by bay % the installer has finished to date.
  4. Freight Management – E-D construction software allows the project manager to input daily Bill of ladings by truck keeping a running total of the parts on the job site. The ability to provide a visual snapshot daily keeps the manufacturer and installer in sync with current part needs. Trucking is simplified and organized by truck numbers allowing problems to be recognized sooner.
  5. Site Management – E-Distribution will contract with a qualified experienced material handling site manager to oversee the daily work load of the contractors on the job site. This allows the owner and GC to focus their attention to their specific needs and give you help in the field.

All Fee based projects can include some or all of the items above with varying rates per hour, weekly, daily with expenses. Most large projects can have all items above for 2.5% to 3% of the total material handling project or as little as 1% for pieces of the above services.
